One of 74 made. The 250 series are clearly the most coveted of all Ferrari cars. This car is a fully matching numbers Ferrari as evidenced by its Classiche certification from the factory in 2011. It has won several European Concours since its comprehensive restoration was concluded in 2012. This actual car was the subject of two articles in the August, 2018 issue of “Sports Car Market” magazine, one of which detailed its purchase by its current owner at the RM Sotheby’s auction in Monte Carlo. This car is one of 74 initially made over a three-year period and only 42 are thought to exist today. The 250 series of Ferrari engines were the longest-running years of production, starting with the 250 MM in 1952 and culminating with the last, a 250 LM in 1965m the last Ferrari to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It has won several European Concours since its comprehensive restoration was concluded in 2012.
